Make your voice heard on a walkabout
As part of our commitment to improving the quality of neighbourhoods where our tenants live, we host a programme of estate walkabouts throughout the year. The walkabouts – also known as estate inspections – involve walking around the estates where our homes are located, and identifying issues that might need to be tackled.
The walkabouts give our residents a chance to speak to their Housing and Assets Officers to discuss issues about their neighbourhood or anything to do with their home or tenancy. Walkabouts usually last 1-2 hours depending on the size of your area.
Estate Walkabouts are an opportunity for us to identify issues such as:
- Anti Social Behaviour
- Community Issues
- Fly Tipping
- Overgrown Gardens
- Need for potential investment
Following each walkabout, we draw up an action plan to let residents know how we intend to tackle issues, and by when.
