A Caring, Safe and Social Space for Older People
For many older people who live alone or at home with a carer, Radius Housing Day Care services offer the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe, manageable and comfortable environment, as well as a caring and relaxed atmosphere, therapeutic activities and social stimulation.
Our centres have large open plan lounges and dining areas plus an activity room that allows for small group or 1-1 activities or for moments of solitude. In addition there are open spaces outside which enable service users and staff to walk around in a secure and safe environment.
Our staff continuously build on their knowledge and skills and aim to use best practices wherever possible. Staff attend a structured training programme to help them provide the most appropriate care and support that enhances the lives of people who attend Day Care.
Millbrook Day Care Centre
Millbrook Court Day Centre is located on the Donaghadee Road, Bangor, and provides day care, for people living with dementia, supporting their carers with important periods of respite.
Day care may be the beginning of dementia services or may be part of an overall package of care and support.

The service is provided by Radius in conjunction with the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust (SEHSCT) and is regulated by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA).
Sevenoaks Day Care Centre
Seven Oaks is located on Crescent Link in Derry/ Londonderry and is a registered care home for people with dementia with the local Health and Social Care Trust.
Accommodation is provided for one resident in each self contained flatlet. There are 30 flatlets in total. Each flatlet has a toilet, wash hand basin and shower en-suite, as well as a small kitchen unit complete with refrigerator and sink and built in furniture.
Care and Support staff are on duty 24 hours daily to help with personal care and general daily activities.
Residents will, where practicable retain their own GP. Arrangements for regular visits to or by dentists, opticians, podiatrists and physiotherapists will be organised by the Care Team at Seven Oaks.
Seven Oaks is regulated by RQIA.
