Adaptation Support for Private Homeowners

Staying Put supports individuals in applying for grants to adapt their homes based on Occupational Therapist recommendations.

These home adaptations help improve accessibility, safety, independence, and overall quality of life for people living with disabilities or changing needs.

Funded by the Government through Supporting People, Staying Put provides free independent advice, support and practical assistance for those applying for grant-assistance from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive's Private Sector Grants Service.

Our experienced case workers can guide you through your grant application(s) and provide practical support throughout your home adaptation.

Each year, our Staying Put team:

Completes 800+ Visits to New Clients

Submits 400+ Grant Applications for NIHE Approval

Assists in Satisfactory Completion of 350+ Disabled Grant Adaptations

Improves Services through Customer Satisfaction Feedback

The builders were very helpful, clean and friendly. It is wonderful to regain my independence.
